In this lesson, we’re going to show you a helpful exercise for playing a major arpeggio across 3 octaves. The major arpeggio is constructed of the Root, 3rd and 5th degrees of the respective major scale. In the example below, we will be playing a C major arpeggio which includes the Root (C), 3rd (E) and 5th (G) of the C major scale.
We suggest that you practice this exercise with alternate picking.
Be sure to practice with a metronome.
